Ginny Abblett Fine Art Fabrics
Cochiti Pueblo artist Helen Cordero is inextricably linked to the art of figurative clay sculpture. She created ceramic sculptures in the 1950's with their popularity continuing today. It is Cordero who inspired me to create soft sculpture story story teller dolls.
Each soft sculpture mama has four babies and she gives them hope and strength by telling them stories of ancient times and legends.

Each purse is woven by Lori Helstrom, using bamboo, cotton, silk or wool. Ginny Abblett then uses vintage kimono silk to line and embellish each unique bag. The purses with straps are $60 and the clutches are $50.
